CANCELED: Alumni Events
Welcoming alumni back to home to the castle is an exciting time of vibrant energy, joyous reunion, and reconnections to lifelong bonds.
With the rising concerns around the spread of COVID-19, Wartburg Theological Seminary has canceled the Reformation and Reunion alumni events and on campus continuing education scheduled for April 14-16, 2020.
To our knowledge, there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 within our community, however the decision was made to cancel in an effort to do what we can to minimize the spread of the virus. The COVID-19 situation has been unfolding very rapidly and is being monitored closely.
Creation and Crises: Science and Theology Respond
The Creation in Crisis Conference will continue with an option to join from a distance only, with enhanced opportunities to attend virtually than initially planned. This exciting opportunity has been made possible through a grant from the American Advancement for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Science for Seminaries project of the AAAS Dialogue on Science, Ethics and Religion (DoSER) Program. Wartburg Seminary is one of 9 theological schools in North America to participate in this program and the conference will feature scholars of theology and science from across the country.
The conference will be open to the public and cost $25 for virtual attendance.
Online registrations require a credit card for processing. For questions about the conference, registration, or if you’d like to pay by check, please contact Corissa Frederick, Director for Development, at cfrederick@wartburgseminary.edu or 563-589-0322.
